Experimenting with Bad Grammar's look... Michio here is pretty much the epitome of my mood as of late. Eventually, some day, I will be done with my overhaul of the comic. Until then... Moar sketching.

New Website

So I'm working on a new website layout, and I'm nearly finished. And I have a brand new front page graphic, too.

Well, that's just the sketch. I'll post the finished product once I get the website up and running. Until then... Stay classy.

Sketchdumping

Just thought I'd drop down a few sketches. While working on chapter 2 of Bad Grammar, I of course felt it appropriate to change the outfits of the main characters. All except Michio. Of course, this will be commented on by the other characters.

News: Small Press Expo

Well, I have some exciting news for everyone!

I will be an exhibitor at this year's Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD. The Expo is September 26th and 27th, and you can buy admission for the weekend or for a single day if you like.

In addition to touting some completely new comics, which you will be able to see the inklings of up here as they reach a finished state, I will also be selling printed books of Bad Grammar: Chapter 1. This in particular is exciting news for me.

So, if you're in the area, please stop on by to see me, and of course all the tons of wonderfully talented people who will also be selling their craft. Or, if you're not, buy a plane ticket now. I know I'll certainly be breaking the bank, with all the comics I'll be buying!

Bad Grammar Chapter 1 Cover

A Father and Son

This is just something I did for myself. These two are a father and son from my comic-in-development, Bad Grammar. "Yosh" is Japanese for something like "Yeah!" or "Alright!" I just drew this with a felt-tip pen and colored it in photoshop.
